Yael Alkalay

MFA ’13 DMI

I explore the shifting intersections of art and human experience. My practice spans drawing, painting, sketching, and digital platforms, focusing on the ways we perceive, express, and connect across both physical and virtual spaces. I am drawn to processes of formation and transformation, how meaning emerges and evolves through both subtle and significant shifts. Observation and experimentation guide my process, allowing me to capture moments of transition and resonance. My work is an ongoing search for presence, connection, and expression within an ever-changing world.
