MFA ’22 Film/Video

A storm is coming in and you’re not better yet

There’s a point at which people are tired of listening. There’s a point at which people are tired of telling. These points are arbitrary and inarticulate.

Through the play of wind, light, and shadow, we explore feelings of quiet rage and reflection. A storm is brewing below the surface, things are left unsaid, unseen, as we navigate the currents of healing. Using a vintage lens and patience, a quiet view unfolds to a crescendo of light and sound, echoing an inner narrative that ebbs and flows like the mind buffeted by outside influences pushing in a direction we may not be prepared for.
