You know that I love you
Long Island, New York
One Two Three
An afternoon in May
His camera on record
Pause, play, rewind
Dare not put it down
You know that I love you
Behind blue house
Four Five Six
Sugar maple, white birch, balsam fir
Good for hiding
You know that I love you
Under the Atlantic ocean
Light blinds and burns,
Seven, Eight, Nine, Ten
We built our sandcastles
And watch as they’re swallowed whole
You know that I love you
I can’t remember
Those clouds
Eleven, Twelve, Thirteen
Camped in Tennessee
Swarms of tadpoles near the shore
Slipped through our fingers
Fourteen
You know that I love you
His black truck
His shoes near the door
What fire sets us free
