A Continuous Factory of Doubt is an installation exploring the internal, cyclical, and often suffocating nature of the creative process. By scattering a forest of CRT monitors throughout the space, I create a fragmented landscape of the self, where different iterations of my own image, rendered in stop-motion, 3D, 2D, a videogame and rotoscope, are trapped in various states of labor and psychological unrest. These screens serve as analog windows into a mind governed by the “loop,” where the Sisyphean struggle is displayed in all of the different CRT monitors.

At the heart of this sensory cacophony is an interactive maze video game, where the viewer is no longer a passive observer but an active participant, chased by the very anxieties that fuel the work. This installation is a meta-commentary on my own creative journey; it is a space where the buzzing hum of hardware and the frantic agency of gameplay externalize the doubt and perseverance required to make art. While the work intentionally leans into the discomfort of anxiety, it remains a celebratory act of catharsis. It is a meditation on the beauty of the struggle, a tribute to the medium of animation, and an invitation for the viewer to get lost within the same beautiful, terrifying maze of creation that I inhabit every day.
