One of my favorite ways of working is to self-commission designs for works of literature or cinema that inspire me, like the two pieces displayed here: The Shining and Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me. I enjoy using careful line-work, bold colors, and hand drawn typography to draw people into whatever imagined worlds I am trying to capture.

Additionally, I find it compelling to include easter eggs or to nod to intriguing moments found in whatever work I am illustrating. Fans of King or Lynch’s might be able to identify those elements in these designs.
